Frank Villa OD • Grew up in Williamsburg, VA • Undergraduate – Old Dominion University – Magna Cum Laude • Post graduate classes – The College of William & Mary • Doctor of Optometry – The Pennsylvania College of Optometry • Served as Chief of Optometry & Administrative Chief of the EENT Clinic- McDonald Army Hospital, Fort Eustis, VA • Moved to Lynchburg in 1985, Private practice since 1989 • Two children • Climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,340 feet) in 2000 as part of a fund raising project for third world eye hospitals. Raised $7,000 for the project. • Eye mission trips to Haiti, Guatemala, Peru, Nicaragua and Ecuador • Completed 22 ultra marathons (including eight 50 milers) and 4 marathons on 250-350 miles training per year.
